We appreciate anything you can contribute to the site, we are looking for the following:

To submit material to Glasair.org please follow the guidelines below

Articles -

If the article is a "BuilderHint" type piece please see Hints and Tips Below.
If the article is a feature article that you feel belongs on our Home Page please email the article as an attachment in any of the following formats MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe PDF, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Raw Text Files, RTF Files or any other file that the above mentioned programs are capable of importing. The address to email the files to is: bruce@glasair.org . If you need to mail the files (due to large size) please use our mailing address found on the "Contact Us" page.

Tips and Hints -

Tips and Hints can be submitted using the submit feature on the BuilderHints page. Hints and Tips can be plain text or HTML formatted.

Photos - 

Photos can be contributed using the "Submit an Image" button in the ImageBase area. Please use JPG or JPEG images and keep them to a reasonable size so that users with smaller monitors and lower screen resolutions can view your images without scrolling endlessly. We recommend images aprox. 640 pixels wide and aprox. 480 tall or smaller. If your photos are not in electronic format and you do not have a scanner please feel free to mail them to us with a description of each photo. Video Clips -

As bandwidth and connection speeds become less of an issue every day for Internet users we believe that video clips will soon replace still images as the preferred media. We would love to have a collection of short clips (a few minutes or so) describing different aspects of construction, techniques and tips. We can accept raw video on VHS and 8mm/Super8, we can also accept .AVI files sent on CD ROM, ZIP Disk or JAZ Disk (Zip and JAZ disks will be returned if requested). Press Releases - Product Info - Industry News -

The preferred format for these files is Microsoft Word or HTML format, however if you have files in any other format we can convert them. The file types we can accept are: MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Raw Text Files, RTF Files or any other file that the above mentioned programs are capable of importing. Files can be emailed to us, uploaded to the FileBase or mailed to us on CD ROM, Floppy Disk, ZIP or JAZ using our mailing address found on the "Contact Us" page.

Drawings -

The preferred format for drawings is the industry standard AutoCAD .DWG or .DXF format. Corel Draw files are a good alternative for those that do not have AutoCAD. Files can be emailed to us, uploaded to the FileBase or mailed to us on CD ROM, Floppy Disk, ZIP or JAZ using our mailing address found on the "Contact Us" page.
